DTN Farm Business
Wednesday, October 28, 2020 5:50AM CDT
Already a debate is raging among China watchers over what Washington's next steps should be in the relationship between the U.S. and China following the election. Some favor a “reset” to tamp down tensions and return to more constructive diplomacy. Others are fearful of that and argue the U.S. mustn't stray from the hard line.

Tuesday, October 27, 2020 9:15AM CDT
For most farmers, changes in Democratic nominee Joe Biden's tax plan would be negligible. But for farmers earning more than $400,000 a year, they would see higher income taxes, payroll taxes and the loss of some business and personal deductions. Capital gains rates become ordinary income for people earning more than $1 million. Estate tax exemptions would fall as well.
